THE PROCESS
We have a team of photographers that I have personally chosen and trained in my specific style. They have shadowed me to watch how I interact with clients, pose them, style details, shoot ceremonies/receptions, etc.
I will stay as your main point of contact
throughout the planning. The associate will
photograph your engagement and wedding day, give the photos to me to edit with my unique editing style.

Associate Photography
What is an associate photographer? An associate photographer is a photographer who shoots weddings or sessions on behalf of the head photographer/owner when they are unavailable. The images are then edited by the head photographer (myself) so that the photos reflect the look and feel of my work.
An associate photographer works as an independent contractor and represents the head photographer and their brand. If a head photographer is unavailable for a couple’s wedding date, but the couple loves their work, this is a great option. It is also a more affordable alternative for brides that still want the KJC wedding experience, candid posing, and unique editing!
How does your associate photographer program work? I handle the inquiries, scheduling, customer service, and coordination of meetings. My associate photographer is the artist on the day of your wedding! I then edit all weddings myself, so you can expect the same editing style as you see on my portfolio.
How do you choose your associate photographers? I am VERY picky! I choose associates in whom I see passion for people, weddings, and photography. I genuinely care about my couples and their happiness is SO important to me, so I take my time when choosing my team.
What training does the associate receive? My associates must fulfill a very specific list of requirements before I will consider hiring them as a part of my team. Many already have years of wedding photography experience and/or train with me during the wedding season. I have them shadow me during weddings, as well as accompany me to engagement sessions in order to learn my posing and shooting style.

I spend my free time hanging out with my husband, new baby daughter, and my dogs, usually doing some form of cooking. My photography style is warm, candid, and authentic. I love working with people and feel lucky that I get to capture one of the best days of their lives!

Most days you can find me with my yoga pants on, a Bubly in my hand & dancing in the kitchen to Taylor Swift. Exploring new places and meeting new people is one of my favorite things! I’m multi-passionate, a professional dog mom, travel enthusiast and prefer Airbnb over all-inclusive. What lights me up is encouraging others to be the best versions of themselves and to just go for it! My photography style is laid back, authentic and fun! I'm most passionate about capturing moments and my ultimate goal is to capture who you really are; quirks, laughs, tears and all! Because the real and authentic moments are the memories you'll really want to remember. They're part of YOUR story and I'm here to help you tell it!
